Jack Waters Tennis Serves provides a statewide umbrella to introduce youth to tennis and provide for a pathway for youth to continue and reach their full potential in tennis.
Jack Waters’ life represents the true inspiration for the Tennis Serves mission as Jack spent his career sharing his knowledge of tennis with young people and helping them to achieve their dreams and aspirations. GTF and Jack Waters Tennis Serves have a broader mission of promoting tennis as a healthy lifestyle choice and a sport that builds immeasurable character.
Jack Waters Tennis Serves consists of two different categories: Joe Dorn First Serve & Ned Neely Second Serve.
The Joe Dorn First Serve introduces tennis to over 7,000 at-risk children each year through summer and after school programs and has introduced tennis to nearly 80,000 children since its inception. The second component, Ned Neely Second Serve, assists the families of outstanding junior players with tournament travel expenses as well as supporting Jack’s strong affinity for providing financial aid to players who are at the beginning stages of the ATP or WTA tour.
Tennis has a unique power to unite people from all walks of life and inspire positive change both on and off the court. The Georgia Tennis Foundation is proud to support young athletes, invest in community programs, and advocate for inclusivity and accessibility. We continue to work together with our patrons to shape a future where tennis is not just a sport, but a force for empowerment, growth, and positive transformation.
